Thoughts from Amit Chakma
“When you talk to young people, they think differently. They are more socially aware. They are more culturally inclusive.”
- Amit Chakma, incoming President, University of Western Ontario on the divide between students and current Canadian university leadership.
Of course at TFD, we agree with this. But I think the interesting part of his comment is that young people think differently. I’m not sure our social outlet is the same as past generations. And I’m not sure that this is often understood by current Canadian leaders.
